சிற்றினம் அஞ்சும் பெருமை சிறுமைதான்
சுற்றமாச் சூழ்ந்து விடும்

Elite fears the trivial group; inferior
surrounds trivial as nexus

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The elites who have realized bliss, will fear for inferior who aspire cheap-desire; whereas, the inferiors will surround those who aspire cheap-desire as nexus.

The formers who consider agriculture as life, will oppose the merchants who destroy the farmlands; whereas, the merchants will add those who destroy the such farmland as partners.
