கற்றில னாயினுங் கேட்க அஃதொருவற்கு
ஒற்கத்தின் ஊற்றாந் துணை

Even if uneducated, do listen; it will
be crutch when exhausted

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Even if someone is uneducated, they should develop listening-knowledge; that will support them like "crutch" during their exhaustion.

Even if someone do not do public-work, they should support those who do such works; that will give them the mental strength like "life-force" at their deathbed.
