எல்லா விளக்கும் விளக்கல்ல சான்றோர்க்குப்
பொய்யா விளக்கே விளக்கு

All lamps aren’t lamps; for scholars,
“not-lying” is real lamp

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The lamps, which eliminate the outer-darkness are not lamps for scholars! According to them, the virtue of “not lying” that eliminate darkness of mind is real lamp.

The kindness, which is shown to friends is not humane for the "servants of God"! According to them, the kindness shown to enemy is real humane.
