புறந்தூய்மை நீரான் அமையும் அகந்தூய்மை
வாய்மையால் காணப் படும்

Outer-clean is achieved by water; inner-clean
is realized by truthfulness

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: As keeping the body clean, is achieved by water; keeping the mind clean can be realized by the truthfulness.
