தவஞ்செய்வார் தங்கருமஞ் செய்வார்மற் றல்லார்
அவஞ்செய்வார் ஆசையுட் பட்டு

Those do penance do birth duty; rest become
greedy & do vain activity

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Those who do the penance dependent actions, are the ones who do the birth duty; the rest become addicted to desire and do vain activities.

The parties which give the truth dependent promises, are the ones which realized the democracy; the rest are addicted to designation and do corruptions.
