Chapter 012: Neutrality (Vizhiyappan's Translation)

0111.  தகுதி எனவொன்று நன்றே பகுதியால்
           பாற்பட்டு ஒழுகப் பெறின்

           Being neutral is a great quality
           that rewards virtue

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: If it is possible to be unbiased with enemies and friends,
           that unparalleled quality of neutrality will yield virtue.

           If it is possible to provide democracy without any discrimination, that peerless party
           with impartiality will guard the public.

0112.  செப்பம் உடையவன் ஆக்கஞ் சிதைவின்றி 
           எச்சத்திற் கேமாப்பு உடைத்து

           Impact of neutral persons is permanent; 
           also strengthen the followers

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The impact that neutral persons leave on the earth is
           imperishable; it will also strengthen their followers.

           The reign of the leaders, who preserve communism, is endless; it will also provide
           leadership to their volunteers.

0113.  நன்றே தரினும் நடுவிகந்தாம் ஆக்கத்தை
           அன்றே யொழிய விடல்

           Wealth obtained at the expense of neutrality,
           should be destroyed momentarily

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Though it may be beneficial, the wealth obtained at the
           expense of neutrality, should be destroyed on the same day.

           Though it may be pleasure, the relationship developed at the expense of ethics,
           should be broken at the moment.

0114.  தக்கார் தகவிலர் என்பது அவரவர் 
           எச்சத்தாற் காணப்ப படும்

           The leftover will conclude if one
           possess impartial or not

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The impact leftover on earth, after death, will conclude if
           someone possess impartiality or not.

           The way in which the successor carries on, will demonstrate if a reign care about the
           public welfare or not.

0115.  கேடும் பெருக்கமும் இல்லல்ல நெஞ்சத்துக்
           கோடாமை சான்றோர்க் கணி

           As decay & growth can't be avoided,
           neutrality is scholar's speciality

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: As there is no life without decay and growth; being
           neutral at heart, is the speciality of scholars.

           As there is no debate without defeat and victory; avoiding bashing in debate, is the
           strength of debaters.

0116.  கெடுவல்யான் என்பது அறிகதன் நெஞ்சம்
           நடுவொரீஇ அல்ல செயின்

           Deviating from neutrality, at heart, will
           lead us to destruction

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: When our heart deviate from neutrality and think
           otherwise, we should realize that we are going to be destructed.

           When a reign neglect the public welfare and multiple the corruptions, the party-men
           should know that they are going to be defeated.

0117.  கெடுவாக வையாது உலகம் நடுவாக 
           நன்றிக்கண் தங்கியான் தாழ்வு

           World won't mortify the poverty of
           those who are neutral

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: World will never feel bad and mortify the poverty of the
           people who live by being neutral.

           People will never think negative and criticize the troubles of the rulers who reign with
           ethics.

0118.  சமன்செய்து சீர்தூக்குங் கோல்போல் அமைந்தொருபால் 
           கோடாமை சான்றோர்க் கணி

           The best ornament for scholars is
           being unbiased like steelyard

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Being unbiased like the steelyard, which balances both
           the sides - is the best ornament for the scholars.

           Being impartial like the mother, who treats both male and female child equal - is the
           speciality of the society.

0119.  சொற்கோட்டம் இல்லது செப்பம் ஒருதலையா
           உட்கோட்டம் இன்மை பெறின்

           Unbiased mind will speak unbiased words,
           which is called neutrality

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: If it is possible to be unbiased in mind,  there will be no
           bias in the words spoken as well; that stance is called neutrality.

           If the parents can be impartial with the gender of children, they will be nonpartisan in
           growing them as well; those parents are considered great.

0120.  வாணிகம் செய்வார்க்கு வாணிகம் பேணிப் 
           பிறவும் தமபோல் செயின்

           Best business strategy is to consider
           others' things as theirs

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Being impartial in considering others' thing as theirs, is
           the best business strategy for the traders.

           Being kind in treating others' children as ours, is the necessary nurturing ethics for
           those who grow children.
